With Bill at the helm, The Tennis Club has a solid following and was recognized as the "Commercial Organization of the Year" for the USTA Central Penn District in 2014.
Bill is a USTA High Performance Coach and coaches the Chambersburg High School Girls’ Tennis team.
His 30+ years of experience in the tennis industry include the following highlights.......
*Director of Tennis for the Fountain Head Country Club from 2005-2011, and for the Chambersburg Country Club from 1991-2004.
*National Clinician and Certified Tester for the Professional Tennis Registry, and was named Professional Registry "Member of the Year" for Pennsylvania in 2004.
*Junior Competition Committee Member for the Middle States Section of the USTA, and in 2003 was recognized as their "Professional of the Year".
*Vice President of Junior Activities and Junior Ranking Coordinator for the Central Penn District of the USTA for over 5 years.
*Former Women’s Head Coach of Shippensburg University where he coached the team to PSAC conference titles in 1992 and 1994 and was named "Coach of the Year" in 1994.
Bill continually strives to expand USTA programs and promote tennis as the sport for a lifetime.

Leigh is a graduate of Davidson College, BA and The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, MAT, in Elementary Education in Curriculum and Instruction.
Leigh has been an avid tennis player all of her life. After leaving the classroom to raise her children, she decided to become a tennis instructor, combining her love of teaching and tennis.
Leigh continues to actively participate in USTA leagues in MD and PA. She also has experience in coaching high school tennis, Junior Team Tennis, recreational tennis, and country club programming… she is able to develop beginning player to the advanced player.

Matt Taylor has been teaching tennis since the age of 16 and is a 2011 graduate of Methodist University. He obtained a degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Professional Tennis Management. Matt played 4 years of varsity tennis at Methodist University, including 3 years as the #1 player and captain of the team. After graduating in 2011, Matt has worked the winter season at several different indoor tennis clubs around the area, including The Tennis Club for a few years, and is starting his sixth year as the Director of Tennis at Fountain Head Country Club for the summer season. He is also currently the tennis coach at St Maria Goretti High School in Hagerstown, MD. Matt regularly plays in USTA leagues as a 5.0 rated player, and has been on 3 different teams that have qualified for Nationals in the past few years. He has also competed in the occasional USTA tournament throughout the past few years, and has been ranked as high as the top 10 in Middle States in the men’s open division. Matt is a USPTA certified tennis professional, and is also trained in racquet repair, video analysis, and the Quickstart tennis program for children 10 and under.

Kevin Reynolds, Instructor, Racquet Professional
Kevin is a graduate of Shepherd University with a B.A. in Secondary Education, and with certifications in Physical Education K-12, and Health Education 5-12.
Kevin has been involved with tennis for over 30 years. He played varsity tennis at Smithsburg High School, competing at #1 singles his junior and senior years. He now competes at the 4.0/4.5 level in a variety of USTA leagues.
Kevin was the head tennis coach at North Hagerstown High School for six years, where he led both the boys and girls teams to multiple Washington County titles. He was named the Herald Mail Tennis Coach of the Year in both 2015 and 2016. In addition, Kevin also coached Unified Tennis for three years at North Hagerstown. Following his Unified coaching stint, he became the Unified Tennis State Chair for the Special Olympics of Maryland, overseeing the scholastic program for the entire state of Maryland.
Kevin is a member of the Professional Tennis Registry and the United States Racquet Stringers Association. Beginning at age 14 with his first stringing machine, he has 30 years of stringing and racquet customization experience. He is the person to see at The Tennis Club for any of your racquet needs and questions.
With his experience teaching physical education to students from ages 4-18, as well as a variety of adults, Kevin is willing and able to teach and develop tennis players of all ages and skill levels.
